Happiness.

It’s Thursday! The weekend is slowly approaching! Weekends are a great time to catch up on your errands you don’t get to accomplish during the week, but it’s also important to rest & relax on your days off. Try & find some time to just sit outside & enjoy the breeze. Although I do admit, it would be much better to enjoy the breeze on the beach in Aruba, Staten Island will do for now 🙂 As promised, below are a few ways exercise can help you live a happier life…. & who wouldn’t want to live a happier life?

~Exercise boosts your energy. A sedentary (or inactive) lifestyle will leave you feeling fatigued. Cardio & strength training early in the morning will help you feel more energized and ready to face the day. Nighttime workouts may give you a bit of a problem falling right asleep, but if this is the only time you can get a workout in, go for it! Your body will take some time to get used to it but after a while you will notice a better nights sleep & with a better nights sleep, you will feel rejuvenated in the morning.

~Exercise helps relieve stress. Endorphins from exercise will without a doubt make you feel blissful with a better outlook on life. During your workouts, try & block out all of the stress & unnecessary drama in your life. Reflect on all of the great things you have been blessed with. Many of us do not have much time alone so take this time & forget about all of the negativity & absorb this time of peacefulness.

~Exercise improves self-esteem. With that accomplished feeling after a workout, you will feel more positive about yourself. Improving your health & physique will help your mood & help you feel better about yourself. It’s a continuous cycle that is almost like a high & very addictive. It’s a great cycle to get into!

~Exercise will help with your social interaction. To have a more positive mood, you will find more people attracting towards you. People like to be around happy people whose positive energy can become contagious. Working out with a friend or family member is a great way to learn new exercises, introduce you to new challenges & keep you on your workout cycle.

Consider this- many doctors & therapists recommend exercise as part of their treatment for a more positive life, that could only mean you are on the road to success! If exercise is powerful enough to combat all types of illnesses, think about what it can do to improve your life.

Enjoy this beautiful day!
